Bus Station Žiar nad Hronom

The goal of the reconstruction was to create a better and, above all, more useful urban space, to bring new greenery to the station and to create more comfortable spaces for passengers and city residents. All this was conditioned by the preservation of the existing steel constructions of the platforms, i.e. the entire current transport concept.

The steel structures of the platforms received a new facelift and small architectural elements such as stops, benches, trash cans and flower pots with greenery were inserted under them. A new element is the creation of a relaxation zone, which is a smooth continuation of the platform and is formed by pergolas with climbing greenery, green areas with perennial beds and implemented seating.
